Tee is a passionate outdoorsman and conservationist, President of Broad Water and Managing Director of Atoka Conservation Exchange. For twenty years he has run summer youth outdoor programs in Virginia, introducing thousands of children to the wonders of the state’s wild places. He serves on the boards of Virginia Forever, The Richmond Foundation, and The Center for Natural Capital. A St. Christopher’s School alumnus and 1996 graduate of the University of Georgia, he lives in Richmond with his wife and two children.
A lifelong outdoorsman and advocate for wild spaces. A native of Roanoke, Ben spent 12 years teaching in Virginia’s public schools and owns and operates Virginia Outside–Roanoke. He serves on the board of the Roanoke Valley Chapter of Trout Unlimited and is a conservation manager for First Earth 2030. He holds degrees from Presbyterian College and the University of Tennessee.
Woodie has more than two decades conserving Virginia’s natural resources — with government agencies, AmeriCorps, Friends of the Rappahannock, and the Rappahannock Tribe. A 2022 graduate of the Virginia Natural Resources Leadership Institute and a Virginia Master Naturalist, he is a U.S. Air Force veteran and co-founded the Blackwater-Nottoway Riverkeeper Program in 2001.
Megan helps move Broad Water’s conservation projects from first conversation to permanent protection.
Nicola is the primary project manager for Wild Ginger Field Services, leading ecological assessment and monitoring in the field.
Broad Water’s team also leads conservation work at affiliated organizations including Atoka Conservation Exchange and First Earth 2030.
